I consider myself almost absolutely literate in Russian, but these intricate web of conjugations, parsing of words and sentences, and all that, are a dark forest for me.

How would you parse the words “съешь” and “вынуть” (like the root, prefix, suffixes)?

I went online for help and stumbled upon an interesting book “Linguistic Detectives”. Downloading it to my device –
