There was a recent discussion about creating a network of state pharmacies with a focus not on profit, but on improving public health. Nonsense, of course.
But here’s a thought. Why not create a network of pharmacies with a completely transparent economy?
So that on the website you could follow all the tenders, reflect all purchases and sales, and make pricing public (for example, adding a fixed percentage to the purchase price)? For suppliers – for any item, you can beat the existing public purchase price with your offer and become the supplier of that medicine for the next period?
A very slippery proposal, but the idea of a transparent and publicly open business has been haunting me for a long time, and this seems like a perfect place for it.
