Very interesting about Perec’s novel “Life: A User’s Manual”. 1467 characters, 99 chapters, organized according to a specific pattern, each chapter contains a mathematically precise array of references and constraints.
This is the same author who wrote the book “La Disparition” (The Disappearance) without using the most common letter in words (I analyzed it on my blog in 2011: http://rauf.livejournal.com/436401.html).
