There are parking lots with barriers, single-use paper tickets with barcodes, printed at the entrance and readers at the exit. They offer some free parking time, like 15 minutes. How do they protect against drivers who park for 3 hours, and to avoid paying, walk to the entry machine and get a new ticket to exit with? Surely it doesn’t read the car plates, does it?

Even if such drivers are caught, is there any administrative penalty?

I have a Penny Nickel longboard. I can ride fast and turn around just fine. How do I accelerate on a flat road or even a slight incline? Is it even possible on this board?

Morning jog, 13.13 km. I doubt I could run a half-marathon in such scorching heat. Tired for the first time, it seems my distance is about 18 km at most for now. At least in the heat. Nike awarded four medals: 5km in 25 min, 10 km in 54 min, fastest run, and longest route

In a week I am driving to Riga. By any chance, does anyone know whether a diagnostic card is needed to cross the border? Can a dent in the trunk cause the car to be denied entry?
