We went for a walk in the forest, Shenandoah, Skyline Drive. Lisa saw a snake by the waterfall, she was hysterical to tears, we barely convinced her to move on. Later on the trail, we encountered another, this time definitely venomous – a copperhead. There were no bears, but we saw their lairs near the tents, bear traps. Ten kilometers on foot uphill at a thousand feet height through such a forest.
Photos of the snake, bear lairs, and other nature are attached.
