A small update on my blog about Hybris. Probably, only developers will understand, though. There are a few of them among the readers, so I am informing you.

hybrisCronjob – a utility for running cronjobs. Cronjobs are such Hybris modules, which can be scheduled to run at specific times, on certain events, or manually. So, for manual execution, there is only a web interface, and it is somewhat inconvenient when you are in the debugger and need to run it fifty times a day.

And here’s another interesting note about life in America, about fundraising by local schools. It should be interesting for anyone who has children, to compare and maybe transfer some experiences to their own schools.

Update to my utilities for developers on Hybris.

Starting with version 6.0, SAP has replaced the logging module with a more functional and up-to-date one, but this change also broke the management mechanism in HAC.

In my toolkit for Hybris developers, a new tool has emerged – hybrisLog. Main features:

1) viewing Hybris logs in real-time. Essentially, this replaces tail -f

2) changing the logLevel for any of the more than a couple of thousand classes involved in the logging system.
