I came up with a rather educational little task with an impressive result: install a video camera and 2 laser distance sensors at the front of a car. With the help of these simple devices, the car “hooks onto” the one in front and keeps pace. It’s simple. Furthermore, when the car ahead turns, one edge becomes slightly closer than the other, which signals the following car to plan a turn at the same place in the same way. If the system is well-tuned, you can create a train of cars that increases in speed;) why hasn’t anyone done this yet?!
