I’ve grown tired of syncing subtitles for the downloaded episodes of Fargo. I found an online service that allows subtitle reconversion by recalculating the timestamps for phrases. I opened the movie, checked the beginning and end for the actual speech, took the real timestamps from there, input them opposite the phrases displayed by the service, and the software recalculates all the subtitles so they dynamically shift from X sec to Y sec throughout the entire movie. Right now, for the second episode of Fargo, there’s a subtitle delay of 13 seconds at the start and 24 seconds at the end. After re-conversion, everything works perfectly. Previously, I used to try matching subtitles from various services.
