I wonder who will be the first to create a body-drawing robot (for the face, arm, leg)? Technically, everything’s ready. Can’t find it on Google.

A device where you shove in your face, arm, or leg, and it gently grips, determining what’s swollen and what’s sunken, then swiftly applies a picture without missing by a millimeter. It could have been made at least out of academic interest. I think it would be very popular with filmmakers and as entertainment in general. Theoretically, it could also find applications in cosmetics.

To my surprise, there are still resources available on Gopher and it even has a functional search feature. Since the protocol is old, almost no one supports it anymore. Does anyone else have the Mio Slice fitness watch? Their promotional materials mention a deep sleep percentage of 87% (5 hours per night), but mine shows only 10% (forty minutes). Normally, six hours of sleep is enough for me. Does it calculate deep sleep for you?

I think when Apple invents a cradle for MacBooks, it should be wireless and probably enhance the capabilities of the notebook. The question is why hasn’t it yet?

Blog update on Hybris: how to decompile all of Hybris into original Java classes. Sharing scripts (bash+perl). Takes about 15 hours. Results in about 50,000 java files totaling 240 MB. Convenient to have the sources for substring search. Importable into IDEs.
