Electronics have moved into the office. Over the weekend, I bought a Tenma 72-3060 oscilloscope. I plan to pair Arduino with Lego Mindstorms, operate a stepper motor salvaged from an old inkjet printer, and try to do something mechanical with it. I tinker in the evenings after work. As a quick experiment, I plan to make a simple barcode scanner from an LED, a photoresistor, and an Arduino. A DAC/ADC PCF8591 board is also on its way for signal generation experiments. In my next post, I’ll publish a wishlist about rapid prototyping, perhaps someone knows about it.
