How can the vertebrate population reduce by half over half a century when the number of large domestic animals like cows has increased to one and a half billion heads? From an evolutionary perspective, they, like corn, wheat, and potatoes, are more than well-off.

How do they take such photos? With such a long exposure, shouldn’t everything “blur” completely? And if the photographer (Vyacheslav Prokofiev) allows himself to use collage, then it isn’t really photography anymore, but “Photoshop.” Therefore, I suppose he does not allow it. But how then is it done?

UPDATE: It seems like a long exposure in the dark + lighting with spotlights for short periods on different parts of the hall. The photographer is awesome

Published an article about a new product from SAP, an Angular-based e-commerce template moving towards full support for Progressive Web App. The article explains what PWA is, and what makes the SAP product interesting (by the way, it’s open source).

Besides Spartacus, there is also Vue Storefront, and nothing else even comes close. Spartacus comes with an Apache license, Vue with an MIT license, meaning both are free of charge in either case. Both are ostensibly developed for the platform, but they’re just microservices – you can swap them out for your own, or tailor your own to fit the SAP Commerce or Magento interface.

The article only covers Spartacus. Vue sometime next time.
