Today my little daughter turns 13. Congratulations, my dear, and be happy! May you conquer new heights in sports and studies and fulfill your most important dreams. It’s such a pity that I’ll only see and hug you next week (((

Facebook caught me at a conference in Barcelona with a photo from the mail.ru conference. It seems that since then, no one has thought to give away a gold iPad/iPhone for asking the speaker a good question..

It is interesting that a distinctive feature of Russian industry conferences is the publication of photo albums by the organizers titled “how it was,” featuring satisfied participants’ faces — from the hall, the bar, the street, in embraces, as well as with various kinds of entertaining stuff, both animate and inanimate. To draw a simple shape using constructions can drive you mad if you rotate it at an angle different from isometric projection. Eventually, you come to realize that you should forget this kind of skill and draw as your brain and eyes suggest. Otherwise, it’s just too complicated with all these auxiliary lines. Besides, I already made a mistake with the upper part, I outlined the wrong area.
Did you have descriptive geometry in school?
