First time encountering a shower with a speedometer, oops, I mean thermometer. Actually, it’s very convenient.

In the USA, hotel showers have a single control handle – for temperature, and the water pressure is just normal. And this handle, after a couple of attempts, can be set “without looking” to the right position predictably and reliably. Couldn’t ask for better.

This is a visualization from Animusic, “Resonant Chamber.” They also have https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyCIpKAIFyo (Pipe Dream) and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cgt4DEBQy50 (Aqua Harp). All of this is very old, and the company, apparently, has ceased to exist

And here is the entire album – very https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqek4lSw5vw

Reading about the problem of segmenting Chinese sentences (topic – search). Like, in Russian and English you can split by spaces, but in Chinese – no such luck.

Interesting example:

我␣喜欢␣新西兰␣花 – I like fresh broccoli

我␣喜欢␣新␣西兰花 – I like New Zealand flowers

or another one

才能 – two characters, translation – talent

才 能 two words, one character each, translation “only then capable”

or here –

学会 two characters, translation – society

学 会 two words, one character each, translation “learn how”

and also shown in the picture, how three words combine into one, and it cannot be split)
