Marketers being marketers. “We have two pieces of news: one good and the other bad…”. Essentially, it’s a discount promotion for the holidays. But interestingly — is there anywhere a collection of marketing techniques like this one, for the budding marketer? It’s clear that for tickets and travel packages they are different than for real estate and cars. But still, shouldn’t someone gather such things together? With indications of potential process loopholes that need to be addressed (like a customer returning one item out of several bought in a promotion applicable to the whole group of products, demanding a full refund for the item)
