On July 31, I ordered a phone case on eBay.

On August 1, the journey of the case from Los Angeles to Russia began. Two months have passed, and it’s still in the States. So much for that famous mail service.

Until mid-September, it was stuck somewhere there, and in the last week, it began to actively travel across America (JAMAICA/NY, BETHPAGE/NY, ANAHEIM/CA, LOS ANGELES/CA, ANAHEIM/CA).

I wonder when it will reach Russian Post, it’ll probably take another month because of our delays. eBay does have a money-back guarantee. Maybe I should wait to finally get the case and then claim a refund as compensation?))

P.S. However, I suspect it was held up at the border, something went wrong, and it was sent back to LA (Sanctions?

Metro’s marketers are amusing. Their brainchild is celebrating a birthday, and in honor of this birthday, they are running a radio promotion offering their “Whiskered Nanny” laundry detergent at 20% off. And that’s it.

All my life I thought that inside multicookers there was a pressure sensor and, probably, scales. But, it turns out, there is only a temperature sensor installed at the bottom. Consequently, the moment when water boils away is detected by the rise in temperature above the boiling point.

Damn it, why is Moscow so damn congested today, scoring a solid 8-9, while other days are noticeably more relaxed? The weather’s fine, no more accidents than usual, no roads closed along the route. Why is everyone being so dense?..

I wonder why neither phones nor laptops have yet learned to self-organize into a network without any centralization in the form of access points or mobile antennas? It’s technologically simple.

Skating: Who would teach me how to quickly turn around on skates from moving backwards to facing the road? Well, I know how to face the road, but it’s quite a harsh way to stop. I can turn around at speed facing backwards, but then I have to significantly reduce the speed to turn back. I might need to watch some video courses before the next season)
