“Russia’s contract for maintaining the toilet in the American segment of the ISS has been extended”
Could someone tell RBC News that this isn’t the way to report ‘breakthroughs’ in the space industry 😉

Is there anyone here living abroad who has had to apply for a Schengen visa through a Russian embassy or visa center?
They require original bank statements and employment verifications with a “wet seal.” I can just imagine the face of a Bank Of America banker when I ask for an account statement with the bank’s seal…
My new article on hybrismart.com. It’s about how the management of “assets” – images, uploaded documents – is organized. They are stored in the file system in a rather unusual way, and the article discusses this format and what surprises one might expect from it.
Well, yes, if you’re not from the Hybris world, you might not find it very useful – almost no use at all 😦

I’m figuring out my lenses for the Canon 6D. Conducted a test of two of my lenses from my balcony. For those who know, your opinion – can this YUNGNUO 1.8 be used for portraits, or is it too “blurry”? Trying to understand in which areas specifically this YUNGNUO is better than 24-105.
Phew! Tonight after work, I managed to connect smart sensors and motors from Lego EV3 to Arduino. Had to solder a cable. And order a connector on Amazon. In the photo, the color sensor is connected, with an IR sensor lying next to it. Both have microprocessors, communicating via a serial bus (UART). The motors are simpler. Stepper and regular ones.

Bought today for experimentation, this “young electronics engineer kit”. Got it second-hand, they’re no longer produced, but it’s brand new. Sigh, catching up on what I missed in childhood;) the whole set costs as much as two microchips from it

The dude decided to gain some exposure on dirty at sprosi (like a reddit ama). Check out what came of it) The comments are hilarious)
