Cake designers are on fire

Before the descent;)
Great weather!
Hooray! I somehow learned something
In Almaty, it is normal for “taxis” to stop with passengers to pick up new ones. Between adjacent intersections, we stopped 4 (four) times. We didn’t pick up anyone – it wasn’t on the way.
A very interesting educational channel, Kurzgesagt. I’ve already watched three videos. Just today, I finished a book that, among other things, discussed gravity and atomic physics.
A night, a street, a lamp, a drugstore
A meaningless and dismal light
A quarter century outpours —
It’s all the same. No chance to flight.
You’d die and rise anew, begotten.
All would repeat as ever might:
The street, the icy rippled water,
The store, the lamp, the lonely night.

Passed by the burning INION today. The report on what was there before the fire is impressive.

Visited my first place of work, the company “Bazis” (http://bazissoft.ru). In the photo – my first teachers, Nikolay Kaskevich and Pavel Bunakov, how happy I am to see them again after 24 years! Back in the 10th and 11th grades, I was “coding” something here in Turbo Pascal 5.5, if I remember correctly, it was at least the “Bazis” installer from 5.25″ floppy disks. At that time, the “Bazis” Scientific Production Association was making software for the machine industry, similar to AutoCAD, but now they are leaders in the field of automation of design and furniture production.
And I see, there are loads of Bentleys on the roads. Went to check the prices, and for a Continental GT they are quite affordable – just twice as much as my car, though the mileage is tad low for that price. The vehicle tax is nearly 90K a year – now that’s brutal.
