In “Sklif” on the first floor there’s this cool American vintage telephone. At the bottom it reads “Not for sale. Property of General Telephone”.

Is there a guess why this crap is in the center of the gate? The answer “against cars” is sad – a car can squeeze through the gates if the “ears” are closed, and besides – who would think of going there? Probably, after all, against wheelchairs and blind pedestrians.
