Almost on the same day, two letters arrived: I was accepted into a PhD program at the University of Siegen (Germany), and my mom’s petition to move to the US was approved. For both matters, the real occasions to congratulate me (and my mom) are still ahead, but I’ve been waiting for both of these events for many months (22 and 10, respectively). Today is a good day)
